About Laminated Transformerboard

Laminated Transformerboard is produced globally to international standards, using high-quality board and adhesives to increase thickness while maintaining the highest electrical and mechanical strength. Laminated Transformerboard is a high-density material with a typical density of 1.30g/cm³.

Laminating hot-pressed Transformerboard results in thickness above the standard 8.0 mm: the range goes from 9.0 mm to 200.0 mm. The adhesives in use are mostly casein and polyester resin glues; casein is aqueous, and polyester resin is non-aqueous.

Laminated Transformerboard is manufactured according to the IEC standard 60763-3-1, Types LB3.1.1 and 3.1.2. The adhesives used are mostly aqueous casein and non-aqueous polyester. The density of laminated Transformerboard T4 is a maximum of 1.30g/cm³.
